Ronald McDonald House to Participate as a Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity Donation Recipient!

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan (RMHC) will participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2026 [to be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026] as a charity donation recipient organization and accept donations and charity runners.

Those entering as Charity Runners will help support the Ronald McDonald Houses.

We look forward to receiving your applications!

■ Use of Donations (planned)

Your donation will be used for the construction, repair, and operation of the Ronald McDonald Houses that provide accommodation for sick children and their families, as well as the Ronald McDonald Family Room, a resting place for families accompanying their children in the hospital.

■ How to Participate in Charity

There are two ways to participate:

1. Those who donate more than the amount set by RMHC (100,000 yen or more) and wish to participate as Charity Runners

*If we receive more applications than the number accepted, Charity Runners will be selected according to RMHC’s selection method.

2. Donation only (from 1,000 yen)

Charity Runner Donation Application Period: June 24 – July 9, 2025

■ How to Apply

Please apply from the Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity Special Page of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity RUN with HEART official website.

■ Number of RMHC Charity Runners Accepted: 700

■ RMHC Charity Runner Selection Method

1) Donations of 120,000 yen or more per person

2) Priority Quota for Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2025 (100 places): Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2025 RMHC Charity Runners
If we receive more applications than the quota, priority will be given in the descending order of the amount donated to the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2025 Charity.

3) Priority Quota for Donors to RMHC (50 places): Tokyo Marathon 2024 and 2025 Charity Runners (excluding those with transferred rights) and current supporters and supporting companies
If we receive more applications than the quota, runners will be selected by lottery.

4) “In the descending order of the amount donated” → Among applicants who donate the same amount of money, priority will be given to those who apply earlier.
